It’s been said that whoever controls the media wins the culture. Sometimes when it comes to our media choices there are a few other things we need to think about.
We re-examined the church in Florida that’s planning to burn Quran’s on September 11th. We talked about how more and more Muslism are converting to Christianity, but how this isn’t helping.

The National Weather Service has started mandatory evacuations of Hatteras and Ocracoke Islands on the North Carolina Coast. If your vacation plans are taking you to the coast,
then click this link to get the latest on evacuations due to Hurricane Earl. There is a Hurricane Watch issued for the entire state of North Carolina, in case the hurricane takes a turn inland.
The state of North Carolina has a really good website for getting prepared for any potential emergency (i.e. hurricane, flood, fire, snowstorm, etc.). You check it out here.

geek. He is auctioning off his one of a kind Hans Solo trapped in carbonite desk. Even if you’re not a Star Wars fan, this is one pretty incredible desk.
