| Think of the most meaningful, thoughtful gift you ever received. Whether you thought of the same one I'm thinking of or not, I propose the best one ever given to you was prepared for you long before your birth. However, you didn't take receipt of it until you acknowledged how desperately you needed it and gave your loving commitment to the giver. From that point forward, I suspect no gift mattered so much or ever will. "He is not here. He has risen!...." Luke 24:6 (NIV) This week, take time often to offer thanks to God for giving His Son's life so that you, and all who call ever on His name, have the gift of eternal life. If you have not accepted your gift, all you have to do is ask forgiveness, invite His holy presence in your heart, and believe. This gift like no other is described just for you in the Bible's book of John, chapter 3 verse 16. Looking ahead, in a few weeks you have an opportunity to impact a life with the message of Jesus Christ. The tool will be a billboard. Yes... that's right: billboard. The cost? Just a quarter and four pennies. The truth about the gift of eternal life, as told through song and teaching, for 29 cents a person. Think about that. Pray about it.
