A new listener shared, "I was driving down the road one day and in front of me was a van that had the sticker '106.9 the Light' in the rear window.  I was heavy into rock/metal music, but the moment I turned to listen to that station, because I was curious as to what it was, I never turned it.  It's the only station I listen to now-at work, in the car, and at home.  It gave me a new found outlook on Christianity.  Now I go to church again and can't wait to do so and soon I'll be baptized.  Thank you for all the sermons.  James MacDonald is my favorite, but they're all great; and the music is out of this world."

Bev wrote, "I'm a school bus driver in Henderson County and one part of my route is on the Spartanburg Highway near my school, East Henderson High.  I've been uplifted each and every day, twice a day, by your billboard there.  I first remember that billboard with the candle in the darkness and how dramatic an impact that was on me and I prayed for my bus kids so often, that they would understand the message that this billboard was saying to them.  Thank you for those wonderful billboards.  We Believers are blessed . . . and prayerfully, the children who pass by them will come to realize their importance."

At a concert, a listener shared, "I have lived in this area a long time but never knew your station existed until I saw your billboard while driving one day.  Now I listen all the time.  It is such a blessing."

Ashley shared, "Heading to the mall, I saw a sign of your radio station and I remembered it.  When I got home I turned it there and ever since I have listened to that station.  Your radio station helps me a lot.  I am a 13 year old girl teenager going through teenage troubles and listening to your station makes me feel better." 

Dave of Greenville, SC writes, "I had never heard of your station but I saw a billboard on the highway, I felt compelled to listen. I listened for several weeks, hearing messages that before I'd never think of listening to.  After two weeks, I knew I had not committed my life to Christ and made him Lord over my life.  I asked Him into my heart.  I know without the first step of coming to WMIT that I would not have been led to give my life to the Lord.
