10% of Every Gift Will Help Rebuild a Church in Sudan
The suffering of the persecuted church in Sudan began a half-century ago.  A comprehensive peace deal finally was signed in 2005, and believers began returned to their communities.  The goal of Samaritan's Purse is to build 120 churches during 2008 Across South Sudan.  In the words of Samaritan's Purse, the new churches are bringing the comfort and hope of the Gospel to war-ravaged communities. Each one stands as a powerful testimony to the faithfulness of Jesus Christ, who declared, "On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it" (Matthew 16:18b, NIV)
