Beanies for Baghdad is a bridge between our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, the chidren of Iraq, Kosovo and Afghanistan and very generous kind-hearted people back home who want to do a small part to make the world a better place. Our Network of Points of Contact receive joy in passing out donations to young children who have suffered so much and have so little happiness in their life. Many of the children live in extreme poverty. Your support is very much appreciated and the requests from the troops remains strong.

Just days after her college graduation, Wendy was attacked by a masked man hiding in her apartment. While she physically survived, she lived the next decade in a prison of fear, despair, and hopelessness. God and God alone healed her. Wendy's story is now an amazing testimony of God’s strength in weakness, His hope in hopelessness, and His healing in brokenness.

Wendy is offering an online bible study this summer at her web site: www.wendyblight.com

Here are some clips of our recent interview with Wendy:

- What Happened?

- Practical Steps to Healing

- Greatest Advice

- Great Purpose and Meaning

- Get Up and Walk

Micca Campbell knows all too well the unpredictable nature of life. As the 21-year-old mother of an infant son, her world was shattered when she lost her husband to a tragic accident. Reeling from her loss, Micca feared for her future, and struggled to overcome her aching loneliness. Yet in her darkest moment, she discovered God's remedy for our deepest fears. Micca presents a woman's guide for living a carefree, worry-free life. She explores the anxieties of every woman's heart from insecurities, to finances, to marital challenges, to raising healthy children.

The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world, and it’s not your typical missions experience.  It’s a way for young adults to abandon a traditional lifestyle in exchange for a dramatic paradigm shift.

Through adventure, ministry, community, and self-discovery, World Racers develop broken hearts that propel their hands to act for God’s kingdom around the globe.  The best part of the World Race is it’s merely the beginning of a life-long journey.

We have had so many requests for the MOM SONG again, I thought I would post the video for you! Enjoy!

If you're looking for cute, cheap Valentine's stuff for the kiddos, look no further than the fabulous (and generous!) Secret Agent Josephine. She posted these printable animal valentines (which are way cuter than the usual drugstore fill-in-a-character-here fare), and they're free to boot! If your kid isn't handing out valentines at school yet, there's also a black and white colorable version.

March 14, 1975 - While inbetween rounds of 7-up in Mrs. Kurtz's 6th grade class, a young Matt Stockman accepted a "triple-dog dare" and tried to stick his head through the back of his desk chair. Much to Matt's suprise, Swartz was right... you can get it through but you can't get it back out. In the pursing 135 minute ordeal, four school personal worked feverishly to free young Stockman from the grips of plastic chair death. Pictured above are: (L-R) Custodian Bookman, Shop Teacher Snipes (with Hacksaw), Nurse Evans and Mrs. Kurtz.
